Bible Inspired Valentine’s Day Bulletin Board

Christian School or Sunday School Inspirational Valentine's Day Bulletin Board Idea

The countdown to Valentine’s Day has begun and if you work at a faith-based school or are involved with the children’s ministry at your church, here’s a fantastic scripture inspired bulletin board from Shawna Watkins over at Pinterest that staff and students alike will appreciate! It takes a lot of letters, but the meaning makes it well worth it!

John 3:16 Valentine’s Day Bulletin Board

The bulletin board simply consists of the Bible verse, John 3:16:

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son so that whoever believes in Him shall have everlasting life.”

However, the cool part is that the letters are arranged in such a way that the word “Valentine” can be highlighted and the meaning of the verse tied into the holiday! We like how the original creator used a combination of black and red letters to create a stark contrast and added doily hearts around the verse to provide more visual interest. We might, however, suggest a more vibrant background color be used to liven up the display!

[NOTE: We might even suggest doing a black background, then use white and red letters for a bright contrast!]

Thanks so much for stopping by! We always love hearing from you so be sure to check out the comment section below or catch up with us on Facebook!

      Hi Kathy!

So glad you have found our blog useful! We know that as a teacher you have limited time and, even if you LOVE decorating, don’t wish to spend ALL your free time searching the web for ideas. Our goal is to try and put everything in one place to make it just a bit easier :)

We always get super excited when readers use a bulletin board design we’ve featured and love seeing {and featuring!} photos of the finished product! If you think about it, snap a picture and send it in. We’d love to add it to our feature page!

      Happy creating!

Thank you for this wonderful idea.  I do our church bulletin board each month, and this is absolutely the best.  I used my Sizzix machine for the letters and they were the perfect size to put on a poster board.  I look forward to other ideas that I can use.

    God Bless you.

    Hi Peggy!

So glad you found this bulletin board inspiring. When I found the design on Pinterest, I thought it was quite clever and immediately fired up my Silhouette machine and started creating the display for MY church classroom :)

I’ll be on the lookout for other boards you might be able to use! Have you checked out boardsgalore.com, by any chance? They have quite a few Christian themed boards that you may find useful!

    Have a wonderful day,
    Kayla
