Need a bit more to get your creative juices flowing for Dr. Seuss’ birthday and Read Across America? Here are a few more fabulous displays that are sure to lend some color to your walls and get your kiddos in the Seuss spirit!

Cindy Gilchrist of Mrs. Gilchrist’s Class designed this fun activity and display inspired by Dr. Seuss’ There’s A Wocket in My Pocket. We love that she had her students design their own Seuss character and complete the rhyme! 

Mrs. Wilkins, second grade teacher at Reform Elementary School in Alabama, also looked to There’s A Wocket in My Pocket for design inspiration. She actually won the Read Across America door decorating contest with the vibrant design!

Virginia over at Mrs. Christy’s Kindergarten shares this fun bulletin board inspired by Dr. Seuss’ I Can Read With My Eyes Closed. Having each student recreate the cover of the book is a great touch!

Check out this great door display created by Tricia Fox, inspired by Dr. Seuss Fox in Sox. The 3D effects are phenomenal and the mix of vibrant colors really catch the eye!

This display from Create My Event inspired by Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch is not only perfect for March, but also for any time of year. We love the idea that a heart is added to the grinch cutout every time you or a student witnesses kindness in the classroom. How’s that for positive reinforcement?

Last, but certainly not least, if you’re looking for a more generic Dr. Seuss theme, check out this quilt idea from Jeanette. Yes, we realize that it’s an actual fabric quilt, but we can see using copies of book pages and covers, patterned scrapbook paper, etc. to get a similar look!
