Rainbows and gardens just scream spring! Check out this fabulous display created by the talented media specialists at San Mateo County Library. With its vibrant colors, we envision this design creating a fantastic addition to your spring decorations or even acting as an accent to your garden/plant unit! 

Planting A Rainbow

  • Background: Cover the top two-thirds with light blue bulletin board paper and the bottom third with brown background paper.
  • Title: “Planting A Rainbow”, “The More You Learn, The More You Grow!”, “Knowledge is Blooming in _________ [Room 203, Mrs. Nelson's Class, etc.]!”, etc.
  • Border: Complimentary solid color trimmer or rainbow colored trimmer.
  • Decoration: Use construction paper in assorted colors or scraps of bulletin board paper to create the elements – 1) black, brown, purple, and tan to create the bulbs, 2) assorted colors to create the flowers/plants in various stages of growth, and 3) rainbow colors to create the garden markers.
