Kim Saylor, first grade teacher and creator of Saylor’s Log, created an adorable Dr. Seuss themed learning environment for her kiddos last year and we just love her welcome board design. While it probably won’t be up for long, it’s simple to create and we’re certain the catchy poem and familiar colorful cutouts will be a hit with your new students!

Dr. Seuss Welcome Board

• Background: Light blue bulletin board paper.
• Title: Customize Kim’s poem to fit your classroom!
• Border: Dr. Seuss themed trimmer or complimentary patterned border.
• Decoration: Purchase or create Dr. Seuss character cutouts. Print the names of your new students onto white card stock {we suggest downloading the free font, Grinched}, cutting them out and using colored construction paper to create borders. Arrange each name with a Dr. Seuss character around the bulletin board.
