Valentine’s Day – with its fun colors and popular themes – offers up many great decoration ideas for the classroom and this door display featured at The Virtual Vine fits right in. Candy box picture frames, conversation heart cutouts with cutesy messages, and a reminder that your students are a “sweet mix” – this door design, while first crafted for a kindergarten room, is perfect for any early childhood classroom. Candy Box Photo Frame Craft

Whether you prepare the photo frames ahead of time or have your students complete the craft during class – you’ll need an empty candy conversation heart box with a cellophane window on the front for each student. The window provides a perfect picture frame for the holiday – slide a photo of each student inside the box, tape or glue it to the box, and you’ve got a great keepsake!
